At the property you will find the Castaways Cafe and Licenced Store serving Australian cuisine for Breakfast and Lunch and excellent coffee, a licenced store selling alcohol and all the essential items including bread, milk, fresh produce, Frozen meat, fuel, gas and ice, souvenirs, clothing, sunsmart products, firewood, snacks, fishing and 4x4 gear,bait and drinks. Everything you need is already here on Moreton Island.

Castaways Cafe

 Castaways Café & Licenced Store is open every day from 8:00am to 4:30pm (except Christmas Day) and serves breakfast and lunch until last orders at 3pm.

What better way to start the day then a Barista made coffee The menu has offerings of fish, chips, burgers, sandwiches and salads freshly prepared by the friendly staff. Castaways Cafe also has grab and go meals -Salad rolls, Croissants, Quiches, muffins, cakes and slices if you don't want to wait for a hot meal or miss the kitchen.

There are also plenty of snacks such as chips and biscuits, fruit and there’s even a bottle shop with wine, beer and spirits and don't forget an Ice Cream.

 It’s the perfect place to catch up with the locals or your camping and fishing buddies before heading off to your favourite island spot. Feel free to ask for advice and come in and grab a free map of the island.

Castaways Licenced Store

Our Licenced convenience store located in Bulwer Moreton Island contains all your holiday essentials from bread and milk to fuel, beach towels, sunscreen, Ice and most things you might need when you are on Moreton Island (including 4WD recovery equipment just in case!). So drop in for a cold drink, an ice-cream or to say g’day to our friendly crew! Theres an even an area for the little ones to play while you grab a meal.

We have fully stocked liquor section, featuring a variety of beers, wines and spirits. We are licenced to sell alcohol after 9:00am until close and we also have mixers and nuts to go with them.
