ACCOMMODATION & TRANSFER SERVICES
All accommodation and services provided by Castaways on Moreton Pty Ltd are subject to the terms and conditions below.

Cancellations/Modifications

Castaways DO NOT PROVIDE ANY REFUNDS or partial redemption at any time. All Bookings are Non-Refundable
All reservations made are to be paid in full upon booking and charged to the card details provided.
In the event of cancellation, you will not be refunded any amount paid as rates are strictly non-refundable.
Please contact us directly should you wish to transfer your reservation to an alternative date which must be within 12 months of original booking date.
When re-booking, any increase in rates will be payable by the customer at the time of booking. No refunds or credits will be issued of any remaining monies after re-booking. Re-booking is subject to availability, and new bookings will be subject to new terms and conditions.

The following notice is required for cancellation/modification of a booking:
If the customer provides: Less than 14 days notice you will forfeit the full amount of your stay
If cancelled/modified outside of this time, a partial charge, 15% of the cost of the booking (less credit card fee) will be applied

General

1. Castaways accepts no responsibility for any damage or theft of property during travel, or guests stay at Castaways. We recommend purchasing suitable travel insurance.
2.Extra guests are permitted in rooms providing that the room’s capacity is not exceeded. If incorrect capacity has been booked, we cannot guarantee availability of additional rooms or beds, and any additional cost will be at the guest’s expense.
3. In the event where the accommodation room has been either damaged, whether such damage is wilful or not, or left in an excessively untidy state, in the sole discretion of Castaways, the guest hereby authorises Castaways to enter a debit on the credit card provided for damage caused.
4.Upon Checkout, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate rubbish bins/taken to the town dump, and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away and the property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. If it is left in an untidy manor a $100 cleaning fee will be charged.
5.If a BBQ has been utilized, please ensure it is thoroughly cleaned using the products provided.
6.All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived
7.Please close all windows and doors and switch off lights on departure and when not in the accommodation
8.You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys/locks. Lost/Broken keys will incur a $100 fee
9.Campfires must be made in firepits provided and put out with water before departure
10.We are a 100% smoke/vape free property, so guests will need to step off the property for this. Any guests found to be smoking in their room or on the property will incur an additional $100 Fee on departure.-Smoking is not permitted within the property boundary
11. Castaways has a noise curfew between the hours of 9:00pm and 6:30am, please respect your neighbours

Groups
1.Organised group bookings (More than 10 people) will be invoiced on confirmation of final numbers and a non refundable deposit invoice sent to at time of booking which is 15% of total calculated on estimated number of participants (unless organised otherwise) or the cost of vehicle ferry travel whichever is more.
2.A balance invoice will be issued 3 Weeks prior to group booking and will be calculated on final numbers supplied at this time. Any payments on additional participants, or agreed extra costs, after this time will be invoiced separately.
3. Any decrease in numbers (or no shows) 21 days or less prior to booking commencement date will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
4. Any cancellations/modifications of dates within 90 days will forfeit the deposit, outside of this time, we will transfer your reservation to an alternative date which must be booked within 12 months of original date.
